Who We Are
Founded in 2020 by Lab Informatics veterans, Elab is a company completely focused on Lab Informatics consulting services. Elab was started with a vision to build a company that helps clients navigate through the complete life cycle of Lab digitization. And our growth, the wide range of complex lab projects successfully executed so far, and our long running client relationships makes us believe that we have been true to our word ever since!
Elab is one of the few pure lab informatics companies with proven track record in the entire spectrum of labs, including research and development, quality control, bio-banking, stability and environmental monitoring. Our team offers a unique blend of professionals with expertise in lab functional domain, product technology and regulatory compliance.

Our Founder
Prashant Gandhi, founder and director of Elab Informatics, is an independent consultant, advisor, and senior lab informatics professional with 20 years of experience in the lab informatics domain. With his extensive knowledge and technical expertise in the domain, he has spearheaded and executed a large number of global Lab systems projects across different industries, including pharmaceutical, food and beverage, agrochemicals, FMCG, and allied industries. He has handled projects involving QC, R&D, Stability, and Microbiology labs among others.
Prashant has previously led Lab Informatics COE for an global IT major catering to clients globally and has also worked as a CSV mentor for lab digitization programs. He works as an Lab Informatics advisor for many large IT and Pharmaceutical companies. Prashant is also part of the consulting and thought leadership for “Lab of the Future”.
